As a hotel company, people are the very heart of our business – whether it is investing in our staff, or providing excellent customer service and positive experiences for our guests.

At Sarova Hotels we want to support local charities, and be actively involved in helping our local communities. The Abbey supports a very worthwhile charity – Midland Air Ambulance. We hope to help Midlands Air Ambulance wherever possible, donating money to help with helicopters and lifesaving equipment that can help save the lives of seriously ill and injured people. Making sure they receive the best possible treatment as quick as possible.

Any charity money raised at The Abbey Hotel will be given to Midlands Air Ambulance, this may be through Sarova Preference a bookers loyalty scheme, donations and staff fundraising.

“Midlands Air Ambulance is pleased to be associated with Sarova Hotels Limited. We are delighted that they have chosen the Midlands Air Ambulance for a year to help raise vital funds to keep this service operational. The Midlands Air Ambulance operates 3 helicopters and covers 6 counties. The rapid response which we are able to offer means that the casualty is flown to the most appropriate hospital to receive the treatment relating to the type of injury which they have sustained. We are able to take the casualty to all main Trauma Hospital.

The cost involved to operate this service is £6million pounds per year. I trust our relationship with the Sarova will help bring in vital funds to support this service.” Annie Newell, Midlands Air Ambulance.
