Bewdley Regatta

Bewdley, named in the 14th Century as Beau Lieu, French for “Beautiful Place”, definitely has some lovely scenery to explore, on the western side of the River Severn. At the end of July it becomes a hive of activity when one of the biggest and best attended inland river regattas takes place. During the weekend of 25th and 26th July Bewdley Rowing club rowers of all ages come to compete in races. Award winning Becketts Farm in Wythall has been providing locals and surrounding businesses with quality foods for the past 77 years. The Festival – Cheltenham Racecourse

Jump racing’s biggest festival comes to Cheltenham Racecourse during the first half of March, the finest horses and jockeys will be ‘chomping at the bit’ to make racing history.
