The Elgar suite is the largest of the Abbey’s function rooms. It is entirely self contained, with direct access from the side of the building and car park and has its own bar and cloakrooms. The room is split level, the main area will accommodate up to 300 people theatre style, with the raised area and bar is perfect as a reception or break out area. The suite also features a sprung dance floor, 47 feet long x 21 feet wide, the only one in the area, ideal for dinner dances, and a raised stage area great for presentations. This suite can accommodate back projection and have three phase power enabling you to utilise sophisticated AV equipment to make your event truly memorable.
