Malvern Walks

Do you love to hike in the hills? If so, you will love it at The Abbey, because you can follow walks and trails right from the front door, around Great Malvern, and into the Malvern Hills.

Due to popular demand, we even offer packed lunches and allow dogs in some ground-floor rooms for a small supplement. The self-guided walks featured below are courtesy of Carl Steven Flint, a local guide whose books you can pick up for £8.50 at the Tourist Information Centre, Malvern Book Co-operative, Malvern Gallery, Malvern Museum and Malvern Priory. There are two books: Book One: North Malvern, West Malvern and Malvern Link and Book 2: Great Malvern.

Between April and September, you can also join a 90-minute guided tour led by Malvern Civic Society guides, who have a wealth of knowledge about Malvern’s history and culture. Tours start from the Tourist Information Centre at the top of Church Street. See more information about guided tours in Great Malvern.
