As the Summer sun begins to disappear for yet another year, Malvern is embracing its beautiful Autumn charm. There is no need to hibernate indoors this October, get outside and enjoy some of the best Autumn events taking place across Great Malvern and Worcestershire. With everything from classics car shows and music events to festivals and craft fairs, there is something for everyone to enjoy this Autumn in Malvern.
The Malvern Festival Of Innovation is packed full of ideas for how we can utilise new technologies and innovate ideas to showcase research and development. There will be entrepreneurs and experts explaining the latest technologies that are on the horizon, exhibitions and talks with opportunities to share your ideas and voice your concerns, and new products and services offering a glimpse to the future. The event takes place across multiple locations in Malvern between 8th and 13th October 2018.
Organised by Classic Shows, the Classic Car Show at Three Counties Showground is a well established car and motorcycle show that typically attracts over 500 display vehicles. Specialist Minis and classic commercial vehicles will feature at the event, as well as a variety of private vehicles displayed by age and category. The event takes place on the 14th October at 10am at Severn Hall at the Three Counties Showground. Admission is £10 per adult and £3 per child.
If you’re a big fan of arts and crafts, then the Quilts Autumn Show is not one to be missed. Hundreds of quilts from all over the world will be on display at the Three Counties between the 19th and 21st October 2018. Keen quilters will be getting together to display their unique design and techniques. The event is hosted by Grosvenor Shows and will see a range of quilt stalls, quilting demonstrations, meet the experts sessions and quilt displays.
An annual event that sees some of the most prestigious musicians, poets, writers, filmmakers and other artists flock to the Malvern Hills and surrounding areas to host various events and exhibitions throughout October. This year’s main events include the Royal Northern College Of Music Ensemble on the 20th October at The Great Hall Malvern College, Roman Simovic & Friends on the 14th October at Great Malvern Priory, and Aldwyn Voices on the 21st October at The Great Hall Malvern College. Some events are free to attend, whilst others require tickets to be purchased in advance.
Hosted by Mark Woodward Shows, the Land Rover Autojumble event at the Three Counties Showground is the perfect day out for 4×4 lovers and Land Rover enthusiasts. Loads of indoor and outdoor traders will descend on the showground on 28th October, selling new, used, obsolete 4×4 and Land Rover spares. There will also be a vintage section selling tractors, old lorry parts, vintage spares and machinery.
