
Autumn in Malvern Festival
It is that time of year again, where the Malvern Hills are descended upon by some of the most prestigious musicians, poets, writers and film makers for the Autumn in Malvern Festival. The renowned event kicks off on the 19th September hosting a variety of acts and exhibits up until the 25th October. With events being held all around Malvern from live Jazz music to one-woman performances, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!
This year’s main event is ‘The Splendour of the Baroque Concerto’ being held at The Great Hall in Malvern College on 26th September. Directed by Hans-Peter Hofmann and with Fiona Slominska on the flute, it will certainly be an event not to be missed! In addition to all these amazing acts, the festival also holds a range of exhibitions with works from Malvern’s notable and popular landscape artist, Antony Bridge, and a stunning collection of intricate jewellery of wire-work and sculpture by Susan Horth.
