
Christmas Celebrations in Great Malvern
With less than two weeks to go until Christmas day, the festive events have well and truly started in Worcestershire. We’ve rounded up the best Christmas celebrations in Great Malvern to get you into the Christmas spirit this December:
Christmas Charity Concert
On Saturday 16th December, the Malvern Rock Choir and Malvern Hills District Brass Band will fill Great Malvern Priory with Christmas music. The festivities are all for a good cause with all money raised being split between ARCOS and Malvern Hills District Brass Band. Doors open at 1.30pm and tickets are £8.50 when purchased in advance, or £10 on the day.
Cinderella Pantomime at Malvern Theatres
Get the whole family into the Christmas spirit with a trip to the pantomime. Malvern Theatres will be showing Cinderella from 14th December until 7th January 2018 and it is sure to be a magical show for all the family. The cast includes famous TV regulars such as This Morning’s Alison Hammond, Gemma Naylor from Nick Junior, Paul Hawkyard from CBeebies and comedy star Mark James. Prices start from just £11.76 and under 16s will save a further £6.
Christmas at Croome National Trust
Head outdoors this Christmas at Croome National Trust, there is loads of family friendly activities taking place this December. Little ones can join George the gingerbread man in a game of hide and seek at the Gingerbread Trail. The Long Gallery will be filled with festive music on Monday 18th and Saturday 23rd December, and on various dates throughout the month you can get involved with a range of craft activities, including Christmas card making, lacemaking and calligraphy. Keep an eye out for Father Christmas on your visit to Croome, as he will be making some special appearances on the balcony of The Court.
Santa Safari
West Midlands Safari Park has created a fabulous festive day out for all the family with their Santa Safari. The event is a 4 mile self drive safari, including festive shows and animal encounters, as well as a visit to Santa and a gift for every child. Tickets cost £22 for adults and £18 for children and the Safari Park is open daily from 10am.
Santa Steam Specials at Severn Valley Railway
Get into the Christmas spirit with a family day out at Severn Valley Railway. The Santa Steam Specials are available on selected dates throughout December and include travel by steam train from Kidderminster to Santa’s grotto in Arley. Children will meet Father Christmas and get a special Christmas gift.
Christmas Carvery Lunches at The Abbey
Celebrate with friends and family this December with a Christmas Carvery Lunch at The Abbey. Get together with a group of ten or more, and enjoy a delicious three course lunch for just £17.50 per person. You can indulge with festive favourites such as roast turkey with all the trimmings, and Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.
