Malvern Festival of Innovation
This October, the Malvern Festival of Innovation will be descending upon Great Malvern to inspire and educate people of all ages. Now in its fourth year, the nationally acclaimed festival features keynote speakers discussing everything from the agricultural sector to cyber security and big data, with each day focusing on a key subject. So whether you are an expert in a specific subject area or just interested in expanding your current knowledge, there’s sure to be something for you!
The festival will also be hosting a family day on the 10th of October at Malvern Theatres. This will be an exciting event for the whole family, with science communicator Dr Kate Lancaster discussing nuclear fusion, and Dr Sam Gregson launching his new particle-physics comedy show called ‘Hunting the Higgs’. The Malvern Festival of Innovation sees events running throughout Great Malvern from the 6th to the 11th of October, including school outreach activities, a showcase on electric vehicle innovation and talks on instilling innovation into the heart of your business. Events and talks will be free to attend and open to anyone with an interest in the topics!
If you are in Malvern for the festival, enjoy a spot of lunch or a pint of real ale from the Wye Valley Brewery in the Abbey Hotel’s Priory View Lounge Bar. Based at the foot of the Malvern Hills and with spectacular views over the Vale of Evesham, The Abbey is the perfect place to sit back and relax after a long day.
