RHS Malvern Spring Festival
Spring is a beautiful time of year. The warm weather begins, and the occasional shower helps bring the earth back to life after the cold winter. The RHS Malvern Spring Festival really captures this feeling of new life in its beautiful gardens. The Three Counties Showground will be welcoming the show this year between the 5th and 8th of May. With the magnificent Malvern Hills as a backdrop to the occasion it is the perfect place to soak in the natural beauty of the area and experience some truly wonderful horticultural work. It’s a celebration that both families and garden enthusiasts alike will remember fondly.
Whether you’re a horticulture expert or a novice gardener, there are a range of exciting activities happening over the course of the festival. The serene location is sure to give you inspiration for the gardening season as well as an idea for your own endeavours. There are a number of stunning show gardens to explore that have been carefully nurtured and cared for, as well as exhibits by specialist nurseries that can help you to consider new plants and hybrids for your garden.
The show gardens will feature centre stage at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, which are incredibly beautiful to experience. The festival gardens are designed and created by talented people who are just starting out in the horticulture industry and this gives them the perfect opportunity to feature their spectacular work. For those new to gardening or perhaps in need of some general advice, there are a variety of talks and practical demonstrations that you can attend to broaden your knowledge. These can be found at the ‘get going, get growing theatre.’
If you are taking your family out for the day then there are a wide range of activities to keep the children occupied. There are a large number of school gardens to see and these are a massive part of the show itself. It involves a great number of school children who are engaging on gardening, something that is both interactive and important to teach. There will also be a range of other activities for children to get involved in that will be made available in a programme on the day.
