Summer Holidays in Malvern

Summer has already started here in Malvern and there are so many ways to make it a special and enjoyable one. Little ones are always up for a day in the summer sun, and if you’re in need of some inspiration to stimulate those little minds, then keep reading as we have picked out some top activities to do with your kids this summer in and around the beautiful town of Malvern.

Malvern Museum of Local History

Malvern Museum of Local History is right next to The Abbey! It may be small but it tells many big historic tales inside. Starting with rocks and fossils to the later events that shaped Malvern. Discover the history of the Priory Gatehouse and look for the window called Porter’s Squint, and find out about the events that shaped Malvern from a tiny hamlet to a popular holiday resort. Kids can dress up as Benedictine monks or peasants in the Medieval Room, learn about treatments in the Water Cure Room, and find out about the expansion of Malvern in the Victorian Room, which gives a glimpse of another way of life.

Malvern Splash Leisure Complex

In this hot weather it is almost vital to allow the kids to cool down after playing out in the sun. There is no better way to do so than to enjoy swimming at the Malvern Splash Leisure Complex. Offering swimming lessons, aquafit classes, fitness lanes sessions and relaxing open swim sessions as well as an fun inflatable session for the kids. Child admission is from £3 and adults are £3.90.
