Vintage & Collector’s Fair Tewkesbury
Tewkesbury, renowned for the penultimate battle in the Wars of the Roses which brought the house of York to power, is also home to the beautiful 12th century Norman Abbey and offers a wide variety of antique shops and independent boutiques where many a collectors’ piece has been found! The town is also known for its mustard making and brewing, in years gone by goods were transported on its rivers thus making it a thriving market town.
It is here that the George Watson Memorial Hall is holding its Antique & Collectors Fair on 11th April. Visitors can enjoy a trip down memory lane, browsing this vintage market where home-ware, clothing and accessories are available to purchase. For those with a real passion for times gone by, there will be live entertainment, vintage hair demonstrations and makeovers; the highlight of the day is a fashion show replicating all the latest fashions of the day.
